COVID Safe Protocols Updated 29/07/2021

Please ensure when visiting the Pittwater Sports Centre Premises, that you adhere to all businesses Covid safe protocols upon visit.

Please see below the Beaches Vacation Care and Kindygym Australia specific Covid Safe Protocols.

  • All people 12 years and older, are to wear masks within the centre (including staff, spectators and gymnasts).
  • Class numbers will be capped at 20 per group with multiple classes being permitted within the gym whilst maintaining 1 person per 4 square metres.
  • No spectators within the PSC foyer or gymnastics hall.
    • With the exception of payment requirement or using the bathroom (Access toilet only)
    • This exception must be granted by either the PSC Site Care taker or Beaches Vacation Care/ Kindygym Australia Directors.
  • Drop off: if possible 5 minutes before the program

Upon drop off

  • 1 parent to sign child in using the QR Code check in as well as signing in the child on the program rolls.
  • This parent must be wearing a mask and must complete the COVID QR code check in and put the child attending the program as a dependant.
  • If siblings must be with that parent whilst signing the gymnast into class, they must be added as dependant’s also.
  • Children will be asked to sanitise before being able to come into the centre and sit on one of the social distancing spots in the viewing area.
  • Parent will then leave the premises in an orderly fashion. We ask that you do not crowd or gather on the PSC premises including the carpark.
  • You can then check-out on the COVID-Safe app once you leave.

Upon pick up

  • 5 minutes before the end of class
  • 1 parent to come onto the premises and wait on the balcony whilst maintaining social distancing.
  • This parent must be wearing a mask and must complete the COVID QR code check in and put the child attending gymnastics as a dependant.
  • If siblings must be with that parent whilst signing the gymnast into class, they must be added as dependants also.
  • Staff will have all participants sanitise their hands before walking the children to their parents on the balcony
  • Please then leave the centre in an orderly fashion. We ask that you do not crowd or gather on the PSC premises including the carpark.
  • You can then check-out on the COVID-Safe app once you leave.

 

Everyone will be expected to maintain a high level of personal hygiene and hand washing/sanitising whilst on premises.

Any person who has been in any of the locations identified by NSW Health to be COVID hotspot are not to enter the PSC premises at this time.

We ask that if anyone has any cold or flu symptoms that they do not attend gymnastics until they no longer have any symptoms and have a negative COVID test.

Please note that noncompliance will result in refuse of entry, you will be recorded on cctv and may be reported to the police.
