Dear PSC Friends and Families,
This is a different type of post than what we normally would do, but during these unprecedented and confusing times, we want to be as open as we can with you all.
Who would of thought that a virus would take down so many things we take for granted, Gai and I built a facility that provides just over 20 services to the Northern Beaches and wider Community, on the 23rd March all but 1 stopped in their tracks, over 100 people were unable to come to work every fortnight and just under 8000 people were and still are unable to use our amenities and support our service providers every week.
On a good note, we did start outdoor training to some services, but its not enough and all we are asking is if you can please pass this on, if you have time please write to our local members and plead with them to keep PSC a part of the community, jump on our FB site and support us and follow us to help people remember that PSC was a family run business and provides family run business opportunities.
Thank you all for your ongoing support, Gai and I would like to say a few thank you’s to the businesses that have supported us throughout this time.
To Kelly & Tim, and all the Fresh Start Fitness and CrossFit Conditioning team, thank you so much for continuing to work with us and Cristy through this time. We are so excited that the outdoor bootcamps have commenced and you have been able to get our families back to a healthy opportunity to maintain health as a priority. Keep up the great work.
To our Fantastic BeachLife Physiotherapy team, they have continued to operate as usual, under the guidance of Tash, who through this unprecedented time bought little Lachlan into the world, congratulations Tash & Alex on the arrival of Lachlan….
To our Gymnastics team, North Narrabeen Academy of Gymnastics who unfortunately have had to watch their beloved club NNAOG fold due to the covid-19 forced closure. PSC has reached out and continued the opportunity to restore the programs under a new entity to be announced in the coming weeks. To Jason and some of his team that have moved on to other opportunities, our hearts goes out to you and we want to remind you that PSC would not be what it is today without passionate people like you who took the opportunity to start a business at PSC, stay strong mate.
To Iro and the team at the PSC Sandbucket Cafe and Play Centre, again it is so regrettable to see you and your team fall victim to the Covid-19 restrictions that has forced the closure of this business. To Iro and his team that have moved on to other opportunities, our hearts goes out to you and to remind you as well that, PSC would not be what it is today without passionate people like you who took the opportunity to start a business at PSC, stay strong mate.
To the other businesses that have just closed up and remained dormant, we hope you continue to stay in touch with us (Cristy) and that you have taken this time to energise your business opportunities and futures.
PSC has taken these opportunities and continued to plan and remodel new opportunities at PSC, thus out of the 20 services PSC businesses supplied to the community we hope to see this increased to 25 in the future through new opportunities that are in the planning stages. With the closure of 19 community services as of the 23rd March 2020, we are pleased to see that has now decreased to 15 operating and 2 reduced to 5 to 10%, thus the 7 services who have either continued or restarted, you have our upmost support. We know that Cristy is so excited to be having the opportunity to work with you and we look forward to more services coming onboard in the coming weeks. If you think you can start up small, please call Cristy to discuss.
Mark & Gai Forrest
Thank You All
