Pittwater Sports Centre is the dream of local sports operators Mark and Gai Forrest who established Northern Beaches Gymnastics Club in the late 80s. It was their dream to provide the local community with a one-stop sports centre that caters for the needs of parents and schools and the broader community. After ten years in the making, PSC has been finalised and passed by local council with the support of the Department of Education which is the landlord of the site. |
A privately owned and operated centre, PSC will offer employment for over a hundred local sports enthusiasts encompassing gymnastics classes, ballet classes, dance classes, yoga classes, aerobics classes, martial arts classes, massage, weights centre, trampoline classes, cheerleading, circuit training, anti and post natal exercises classes, personal training programs, birthday parties, the Sand Bucket kids' play centre and much more. The new centre houses a state-of-the-art gymnastics centre catering to the needs of Northern Beaches Gymnastics Club. FreshStart Fitness Centre provides an opportunity for the mums and dads to get fit while the kids are also getting fit. The Sports Café offers a large range of health choices and a few special treats for the little ones. The multi-purpose rooms enables the wide range of extra programs the community requires, and the Sand Bucket Kids' Play Centre is every kid's dream party place. You can download the floor plan here. PSC will have it all, and for the sports-minded person, employment could be just around the corner. The centre still has some opportunities for casual tenancy.
